I'm sure they've done their share of good jobs but this definitely was not one of them. Wish I could give 0 stars.
Brought my 3 month old in after her brother tripped and accidentally hit her head. My fiance was able to catch him mostly but our baby still seemed shaky and disoriented. My fiance took her to the ER and was seen in a timely manner. They checked for blood behind her ears and that was it, the doctor left and said he would be back to check her out head to toe. They wanted to avoid exposing her to any sort of scans which I do appreciate. He returned only to dismiss her saying she seemed fine, blaming her shaky body and eye movements on the fact she was crying when she brought her in. We considered going to Brigham but we called our family physician and scheduled an appointment for today as early as he could. She seemed better when we woke up which was reassuring. When we got to his office he pulled the records from our visit. It was clear he was upset at how little they had done. No monitoring, no visual tests, no ultra sounds. He checked her eyes and ears and monitored her movement for a while. He concluded that she had a concussion, albeit a small one. She should recover just fine.
I don't want anyone to go through my little bit of hell I experienced with them. Worrying if your baby has a brain injury because of some lazy, unconcerned Doctor.
They were able to get us right in. Extremely short wait. Kind and caring. Made sure we understood what we needed to do once we left.
